We knew this time would come. Larry Munson has already said he will only lend his legendary voice to Georgia home games this year, and AD Damon Evans has already stated there is a contingency plan in place if Munson is unable to even do that.

But it’s not like we won’t have some memories, fellow Dawgs.

We’ll always have the hobnail boot…

… Butler kicking it a mile…

… Herschel running over people…

… Greene to Johnson…

… and Sugar falling from the sky…

… but for me, personally, Munson’s best call came on July 14, 2007. You’ll know why at the 2:20 mark…

… I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, or form-tackle the blue-hair at Table 7. So forgive me if I say that’s the greatest call Munson ever made, but maybe one day he’ll speak your name, and then you’ll understand.
