- OMGCheckTheKidsOutOfSchoolAndGetToTheStoreForBreadAndMilkBeforeWeAllDieSnowJam 2008 arrived quietly Thursday and then with more of a vengeance on Saturday. Now that it’s already melting off, we can go ahead and start looking forward to the next one, likely three years from now.
- Josh and I agree on enough things that it makes me slightly uncomfortable. A couple recent things that fit into this category: We both want to see a Packers/Pats Super Bowl, with the Pack coming out on top; and, you must must must see Once. You must. Do it. You then must get the soundtrack.
- While you’re getting the Once soundtrack, do yourself a favor and check out “Boxer”, the latest album from The National.

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007Appalachian State beat Michigan. And yeah, me and Kyle both put the Wolverines at #1. But really, talk about a chance at defining oneself in the face of adversity – if, and I still think it’s possible, Michigan runs the table, wins the Big Ten, then caps off the season with a Rose Bowl win, it’ll go a long way to numb the pain of last Saturday. Would a rational Ohio State fan still talk smack after losing to the team that lost to App. State?* I would hope not.
Anyway, no need to pile on but I couldn’t help laughing at this Michigan discussion board thread. It’s the post made by “MichFan4Life” at 1:11 PM that did it. Apt. Very apt.
* Silly argument since there’s no such thing as a rational Ohio State fan.
