New Day, New PC, New Representations of Babies Dying

I last got a new PC way back in 1999, when I was (still) a dorky college student in Athens, living off Ramen Noodles and Mac n' Cheese. So yeah, it was about that time. I've upgraded to a newer version of the HP Pavilion, this one with Windows Media Center, two DVD drives (one is a burner with the Lightscribe technology [burn images on the cover side of DVD's]), more memory than I thought possible, and a beaucoup amount of neat features.

But I think I still have that little kid in me. Y'know how when you were young and your parents got you a kickass toy for your birthday or Christmas and inevitably you end up playing with the box? Well, it's not exactly that severe in this case (the PC box can't pull up Flickr or YouTube) - but damn if I didn't flip out over the totally awesome pictograms printed on the tower's plastic wrap...

I dork out over stuff like this waaay too much, but c'mon, tell me these aren't two of the most awesome pictograms you've ever seen. I almost want to find a baby and put the plastic wrap over it's little bald head just to see if it makes a similar expression.1

1 Before any indignant people hit me with e-mails damning me for suggesting this, let me assure you that I wouldn't actually do this, despite how awesome it'd be.

"Please do not freeze your baby's head in a giant icecube. It is very heavy and may cause difficulty crawling."
